I‘m trying out a new post where I list the books that I would be interested in reading during each month. There is an overwhelming amount of books hitting the shelves every month, but not all are ones I would necessary go for.
Here are the books that I am looking forward to reading that will be coming out in April
The Bomber Mafia: A Dream, a Temptation, and the Longest Night of the Second World War by Malcom Gladwell. (April 27) I have to be honest with you, Malcolm Gladwell is one of my favorite writers and I will read anything he writes. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, the book is “An exploration of how technology and best intentions collide the heat of war.”
The Paris Apartment by Kelly Bowen (April 20). It’s historical fiction, which is one of my go to genres. It’s set between 1942 and 2017. Aurelia inherits her grandmother’s apartment where she finds out about so many secrets. Cant wait to read this one.
The Man Who Lived Underground by Richard Wright (April 20). The story is about a black man who is tutored by the Police to admit to a crime he did not commit. Sound familiar? It isn’t, the man then escapes into the city’s sewer systems.
Peaces by Helen Oyeyemi (April 6). The story follows Otto and Xavier, which travel on a train with their pet mongoose. During the trip, they realize that their histories are linked in ways they didn’t know.
